This role will expose you to a large-scale, high-tech manufacturing environment where you'll work alongside experienced senior engineers, learn from their expertise, and quickly develop your own skills. The company designs and manufactures cutting-edge technology which has greatly impacted multiple industries such as aerospace, industrial and defence. They have a state-of-the-art facility with over 12 units and excellent commodities for staff.
You'll be involved in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting production problems, supporting process improvements, maintaining manufacturing documentation and assisting with the introduction of new products into production. Working alongside Production, Engineering and R&D teams, you'll help identify root causes, implement practical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
Working as part of the Operational Excellence team, you'll play a hands-on role supporting production operations and ensuring products are built and tested to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fault-finding, repairing equipment, solving manufacturing issues, and working closely with production teams to keep operations running efficiently.
This role would suit someone with a practical engineering mindset who enjoys working in a high-volume manufacturing environment and is confident performing hands-on technical work under pressure. It's a great opportunity to learn from an experienced engineering team and continue developing your technical skills. This is a FTC role for 8 to 9 months with the possibility of turning permanent.
Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, maintenance, engineering, service or repair environment.
  • Experience repairing or maintaining manufacturing equipment is highly desirable. xgikmsk
