Role Overview

You’ll be hands-on in the machine shop, manufacturing prototype and low-volume production parts, using a range of materials and machines. This is a varied role where you’ll program, set and run CNC mills and lathes, contribute to problem-solving and prototyping, and uphold the highest quality standards. Your work in the machine shop will be critical to the success of the wider production team.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and machine precision parts
  • Program, set, and operate CNC mills (3 & 4 axis) and lathes
  • Work with Mazak, Mazatrol, Hurco machinery and Winmax programming
  • Inspect work using precision measuring equipment and maintain ISO 9001 standards
  • Collaborate on design improvements and continuous process enhancements

What We’re Looking For

  • Apprentice-trained machinist or minimum 5 years’ experience in a precision workshop environment
  • Skilled in manual machining (mills and lathes) and CNC programming
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
  • A proactive, detail-oriented individual, eager to learn
