This role sits within an established aerospace manufacturing operation producing complex, safety-critical control products. You will be part of a manufacturing engineering team of around 11 people, covering a broad mix of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and process experience. The role is hands-on and production-focused.

Around 50% of your time will be spent on electrical and electronic engineering activities, including the design and build of test jigs, fixtures, and test equipment, along with investigating and fault-finding complex electrical issues. You will work with wiring, schematics, and PCB designs as part of day-to-day problem solving.

The remaining part of the role is centred on core manufacturing engineering. This includes supporting existing production lines, improving processes, addressing build and quality issues, and ensuring products move into production smoothly and reliably.

There is a strong pipeline of new product introduction work, and you will be involved early, working with design engineers to ensure products are practical to build and test in a factory environment.
