This is a pivotal hire as the first Configuration Manager in the business, giving you the rare opportunity to build an entire configuration management function from the ground up.
You will define, implement and continuously improve the processes, systems and frameworks that will underpin engineering excellence for years to come. In this role, you will own the configuration and change management lifecycle across the organisation, ensuring that all technical data is controlled, released and maintained to the highest possible standards. You will work closely with engineering teams to capture, structure and manage data effectively, enabling clarity, traceability and quality across complex programmes.
You will establish and manage the PLM environment, including Teamcenter, creating scalable systems that support rapid innovation while maintaining robust governance. The pace is fast, the environment is dynamic, and you will have the freedom to shape how configuration management is done. The role is based fully on site in Cambridge, working alongside a highly driven team in an environment built for speed, collaboration and impact.
In return, you will receive an excellent base salary alongside incredibly lucrative equity options, giving you the opportunity to share directly in the long-term success and growth of the business. As the company continues its rapid expansion, you will also have the opportunity to play a key part in growing the function, with scope to build and lead a team over time.
