We are looking for specialists within logistics and trade to join a world leader in engineering technology, in a role which is critical to supporting global import and export operations, alongside overseeing repair orders for both the UK and worldwide.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the UK Shipping Manager, you'll support import/export and assist in the management of orders for UK and global repairs.
  • Paperwork and processes of UK/Global orders and repair shipments.
  • Ensuring deliveries are monitored and customs are adhered to.
  • Maintain and effectively record all import/export controls and documentation, ensuring these comply with regulatory agencies.
  • Support to internal customers and different teams across the business - sales, logistics, warehouse, procurement.

What are we looking for

  • A background within Import & Export, with an understanding of compliance and trade regulations.
  • Commercial awareness with experience working within an import/export focused business and warehouse environment.
  • Technical ability with SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft software products.
  • Personality: Strong communicator, pragmatic, self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
