We are looking for candidates with experience in buying/purchasing in manufacturing environments to join a world leader in engineering technology, in a role that is critical to the success of the supply chain. This is a global engineering powerhouse with decades of experience, and you will work at a state‐of‐the‐art manufacturing facility alongside an established procurement team.
Responsibilities:
- Cover both strategic procurement activities and supplier management for a PSL of approximately 450.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate prices, generate purchase orders and effectively support cost reduction.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience within buying/purchasing for a manufacturing business, using MRP/ERP systems.
- Experience with supplier management.
- Any technical qualifications/CIPS would be advantageous.
- Personality: eager to learn, excellent communication skills and calm under pressure.
