With continued investment in new products and emerging technologies, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact by leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and developing advanced automated RF test solutions.

Based in Stevenage, you will work closely with design, manufacturing and production teams to ensure new products are successfully transitioned into manufacturing while driving improvements in production efficiency, quality and test capability.

This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of introducing new products into manufacturing and establishing automated RF production test systems from concept through to implementation.

You will design and develop test equipment, jigs and fixtures, write Lab VIEW software to automate RF test equipment, commission new production test stations, and produce all manufacturing and test documentation required to support production.

Alongside this, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, train production staff, audit manufacturing processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability and efficiency are maintained.

The successful candidate will have a strong background within an electronics manufacturing environment, with experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and developing manufacturing test solutions.

You should understand how production lines are established, optimised and supported, and have proven experience in RF and microwave testing, including designing and automating RF test equipment using Lab VIEW.

This role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and taking ownership of projects from concept through to production.
