Role Overview
You’ll be hands‑on in the machine shop, manufacturing prototype and low‑volume production parts, using a range of materials and machines. This is a varied role where you’ll program, set, and run CNC mills and lathes, contribute to problem‑solving and prototyping, and uphold the highest quality standards. Your work in the machine shop will be critical to the success of the wider production team and you’ll be joining a company with one of the most recognisable brands in the world of technology.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and machine precision parts
- Program, set, and operate CNC mills (3 & 4 axis) and lathes
- Work with Mazak, Mazatrol, Hurco machinery and Winmax programming
- Inspect work using precision measuring equipment and maintain ISO 9001 standards
- Collaborate on design improvements and continuous process enhancements
What We’re Looking For
- Apprentice‑trained machinist or minimum 5 years’ experience in a precision workshop environment
- Skilled in manual machining (mills and lathes) and CNC programming
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
- A proactive, detail‑oriented individual, eager to learn and grow within the business
