Reporting into the Mechanical Engineering Lead, you’ll be a critical bridge between design engineering and manufacturing, where you’ll translate engineering markups into existing 3D models, help manage project lifecycles and create technical documentation, i.e. manuals and data sheets. Day-to-day responsibilities 1. Engineering markup integration 2. Data and revision management 3. BOM Maintenance 4. Technical documentation support 5. ECN/ECO Processing 6. Drafting standards compliance What are we looking for? * 3 years + experience as a CAD technician, document controller or technical illustrator within a manufacturing and engineering environment * Proficient with SolidWorks, data management systems, technical writing and documentation Desirable: * Bachelors degree in engineering * Technically proficient with Adobe inDesign and able to read schematics/wiring diagrams * Industry background: aerospace, defence, satcom, structural steel, heavy precision
