Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Fixed-Term Contract)

This role will expose you to a large-scale, high-tech manufacturing environment where you'll work alongside experienced senior engineers, learning from their expertise while developing your own skills quickly.

You'll gain valuable hands‑on experience across manufacturing, maintenance and production support, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their engineering career in a fast‑paced environment.

Working as part of the Operational Excellence team, you'll play a hands‑on role supporting production operations and ensuring products are built and tested to the highest quality standards.

You'll be involved in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting production problems, supporting process improvements, maintaining manufacturing documentation and assisting with the introduction of new products into production.

Working alongside Production, Engineering and R&D teams, you'll help identify root causes, implement practical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, maintenance, engineering, service or repair environment.
  • A hands‑on approach with strong practical fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience repairing or maintaining manufacturing equipment is highly desirable.
  • Good documentation and record‑keeping skills.
  • A mechanical or manufacturing background would be advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial, but extensive Lean experience is not essential.
