Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Ampfield Initial 3-Month Contract | Likely Extension
Join an innovative precision engineering company based in Ampfield, working with clients across the globe to develop cutting-edge engineering solutions.
As a CAD Engineer, you'll manage a portfolio of design projects while gaining exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to prototype and manufacture.
This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple high-profile projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering team.
With two major projects currently underway and a third due to commence, you'll play a key role in delivering technically challenging solutions for advanced manufacturing applications.
Using Solid Works, you'll be responsible for producing both 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models, ensuring designs are optimised for precision manufacture and assembly.
You'll also work closely with electrical and controls engineers, with exposure to PLC-controlled machinery and advanced precision engineering technologies.
Experience with precision bonding techniques would be highly advantageous.
This is an initial three-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.
The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, with the option to work from home when project demands and workload allow.
