This is a fantastic chance for an experienced systems engineer to work on cutting-edge technology within the world of medical devices, supporting the rollout of a brand-new world-leading system. Based out of a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in Surrey, you will get the chance to work alongside specialists with electronics, software and manufacturing.
Responsible for both new product development and product sustenance, this role ensures that projects are successfully delivered, meeting time, cost, quality and performance objectives. Covering the full product lifecycle, you will focus on the four key principles of systems engineering: Requirements, risk management, standards and architecture.
You will be joining a global leader in medical technology, with products in every NHS hospital in the UK, who distribute globally to over 70 countries. Without the red tape of many large organizations, you will be given the freedom to shape innovation longer-term.
What are we looking for:
- 5 years + within a systems engineering function, working on cross-functional products
- Engineering background: electronics, software fundamentals with understanding for mechanical, electrical components - used to working on a full complex system
- Degree: technical qualifications in scientific or engineering
- Worked to ISO/IEC standards is important
- Industry: regulated industry experience, i.e.: medical device, aerospace or defense
