You will join a fast-paced and innovative semiconductor manufacturing environment. In this position, you will provide hands-on engineering support to production operations, ensuring the reliability and performance of epitaxy equipment.
Your work will involve maintaining and improving complex manufacturing systems, supporting fault finding and repairs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment uptime and efficiency. You will coordinate maintenance activities, contribute to equipment upgrades and new installations, and support the introduction of new tools into production.
The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including process engineering, manufacturing operations, and site facilities. You will oversee equipment performance, manage spare parts and process materials, and ensure all activities comply with strict safety and environmental standards.
You will also have opportunities to lead technical initiatives, support and guide technicians, and liaise with external suppliers and service providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, supported by relevant qualifications or apprenticeship training, along with significant experience in a semiconductor or wafer fabrication environment.
