In this role, you will be responsible for running and programming punch and laser machinery within a busy engineering environment based in Luton. This is a state-of-the-art facility with sites across Europe, offering excellent opportunities for development and long-term career progression. We are looking for someone with experience in programming and operating punch and laser machines, ideally within a similar engineering sector. This role is best suited to a candidate who is confident with programming machinery rather than purely operating equipment. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and ideally hold a qualification in an engineering discipline. Experience working with modern punch and laser equipment is essential.
You will join an established team of 8–9 people and receive training on company equipment in Luton. Occasional travel to customer sites and training locations may be required, and a company car is included as part of the package.
