This Senior Hardware Engineer role offers a strong mix of digital hardware and embedded software work, giving you exposure across multiple engineering disciplines. Depending on your expertise, you could also be involved in high-speed design, RF, or VHDL/FPGA development. One of the key selling points of this role is the variety it offers; you won't be pigeonholed into working within a single niche area of technology. The company operates a hybrid working model. Once established in the role, you can work from home two days per week.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in electronic hardware design
- PCB design and layout, including multilayer boards
- Embedded C programming
- Hardware testing and verification experience
- Experience using CAD tools for circuit design
- Basic VHDL knowledge
Desirable Skills:
- FPGA experience
- RF experience
- MATLAB or scripting experience
- Familiarity with tools such as Altium or OrCAD
