The successful candidate will work on a variety of engineering challenges, supporting both product modification projects and new product introduction (NPI) activities from initial concept and testing through to final production release within a business specialising in precision mechanisms, motion control systems, and advanced product development.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the development of robust and reliable mechanical solutions for demanding applications. The role will involve problem-solving, product testing, DFMA activities, and ensuring designs meet compliance and manufacturing standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D and 2D CAD software, producing high-quality manufacturing drawings, and designing precision-engineered components with tight tolerances. You will need a Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience, together with a proven track record in product development.
