Established for over 50 years and now experts within protection, safety and pressurised manufacturing systems, they have continued to grow in recent years and have a team of ambitious engineers, with a proven record of progression and career development Roles and Responsibilities: Your role will be critical to supporting the development and innovation of new products and systems, used in a range of industries. Alongside employing core technology and product knowledge, you will also get the chance to explore new business markets. Preparing product specifications, creating and developing designs alongside manufacturing teams Prototyping and support for verification testing, risk assessment and DFMEA’s Working cross-functionally with different teams: electronics, production and quality Attend product launches and visit manufacturing facilities, dealing with customer enquiriesWhat are we looking for? Minimum 3-4 years within a mechanical design role, working on complex technical products Strong 3D CAD knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes (DMFEA/BOM’s) Working through the entire product lifecycle from concept to volume production Degree qualified within mechanical engineering Personality: Commercial acumen, good communicator, able to prioritize workload Nice to have: stainless steel fabrication, pneumatics, precision engineering design, FEA and CFDWhat’s in it for you?
