As a Laser Development Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in the design, assembly, testing, and optimisation of continuous-wave (CW) fiber lasers. This position is ideal for individuals with a Ph.D. in Physics who have experience with lasers, or physicists with strong experimental laboratory experience.
You will take ownership of the full testing workflow, from fiber splicing and laser assembly to data analysis, working directly with optical components and high-power laser systems. You will bring a strong background in physics, optics, or photonics, and a practical, inquisitive approach. Experience with fiber lasers, optical setups, or laser testing environments is highly valued, as is familiarity with lab instruments such as power meters and thermal cameras. You will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and motivated to translate advanced physics into working technology.
