This is a research and development-focused role that will expose you to a variety of key R&D projects, offering unique hands-on experience within an organisation recognised as a world leader in fibre laser technology. You’ll be based in a state-of-the-art facility where all design, build, testing, and validation activities are carried out in-house. The role sits within a small, highly skilled engineering team and is strongly lab-based. You will be involved in the hands-on build and development of laser systems, where work is approached methodically rather than rushed, with an emphasis on quality, learning, and technical understanding. This position is well-suited to a graduate or junior engineer. While training and support are provided, the team would ideally like to see some prior experience in a laboratory environment, gained through university projects, research, industrial placements, or internships.
