The Production Engineer is responsible for optimising and supporting manufacturing processes within an electromechanical production environment. The role ensures efficient production flow, high product quality, and the ongoing delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. The company designs and manufactures cutting-edge technology based in North London. They are looking for a junior Production Engineer with experience in Electronics and Mechanical systems.
Acting as the primary interface between Design and Manufacturing, with a strong focus on New Product Introduction (NPI), the Production Engineer plays a key role in industrialising new products and supporting their transition from development through to full-scale manufacture. The position contributes directly to maximising operational efficiency, productivity, and manufacturability. The role supports the manufacturing department in achieving its performance targets by maintaining the required tooling, systems, and documentation. This includes the creation and control of work instructions, operating procedures, and test specifications, along with tooling maintenance and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in production engineering, manufacturing support, or process engineering
- Experience working with electromechanical assemblies (e.g., motors, sensors, PCBs, actuators, wiring)
