Overview

We are looking for specialists within logistics and trade to join a world leader in engineering technology, in a role which is critical to supporting global import and export operations, alongside overseeing repair orders for both the UK and worldwide. In an initial 12 Month fixed-term contract, you’ll be reporting into the UK Shipping Manager, you will both support import/export and assist in the management of orders for UK and global repairs.

Responsibilities

  1. Paperwork and processes of UK/Global orders and repair shipments
  2. Ensuring deliveries are monitored and customs are adhered to.
  3. Maintain and effectively record all import/export controls and documentation, ensuring these comply with regulatory agencies
  4. Support to internal customers and different teams across the business – sales, logistics, warehouse, procurement

Qualifications

  • A background within import&export, with an understanding of compliance and trade regulations
  • Commercial awareness with experience working within an import/export focused business and warehouse environment
  • Technical ability with SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft software products
  • Personality: Strong communicator, pragmatic, self-motivated and able to work without supervision
