This is a broad hardware engineering position focused on computer hardware rather than bleeding-edge electronics R&D. There will be some design work, but also a strong focus on system integration, documentation, and problem-solving, ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering and seeing how everything fits together.

Hardware Engineer essential requirements:

At least 2 years commercial experience in a similar role
Degree in Electronic Engineering
Solid experience in some of the technologies below

Other experience that will be useful – embedded systems, digital and analogue design, small microprocessor and microcontroller systems, schematic design and some PCB layout (ORCAD, MENTOR or similar), Op Amp and DC-DC PSU design, EMC design (or willing to learn), environmental testing to standards such as RTCA/DO-160 including test specification and reporting, board-level fault finding, production collaboration experience, experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or safety-critical environments. xiskglj
