We have a fantastic opportunity for service and maintenance professionals to join an innovative and expanding leader in semiconductor manufacturing. A NASDAQ listed company with plans to increase headcount in the UK this year by over 100, this is a rare chance for you to join a growing and successful business, in what is very much a challenging market for many other manufacturers.
Role Overview:
Working alongside an established team of technicians, you’ll be seen as the first line of response for technical support, providing key maintenance, repair and diagnosis on high value equipment and process tools (Pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and RF technology). Your responsibilities will include managing spare parts, working to continuous improvement methodologies, and supporting the emergency response team. You will be working in a cleanroom and controlled environment, often required to perform toxic gas checks and moving chemical waste.
What are we looking for?
- This role is ideal for any candidates with an electrical and mechanical background with prior experience in a service and or maintenance related position.
- A mixed engineering background (electrical and mechanical) and the ability to read schematics.
- Prior experience in service and or maintenance.
- Experience within hi-precision engineering or manufacturing (aerospace, defense, automotive, vacuum and PLC).
Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship, HND, HNC.
Nice to have:
- Semiconductor and wafer fab experience.
