The role involves working with Hydroxyl-Terminated Polybutadiene (HTPB) using anionic polymerisation methods, so experience in this area will be a big advantage.

What we’re looking for:

  • MSc or PhD in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry
  • Strong polymer synthesis experience, ideally including Hydroxyl-Terminated Polybutadiene (HTPB) using anionic methods
  • Hands-on lab work through to industrial operations
  • Minimum 3 years’ industrial experience
  • Knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Desirable Chartered Chemist status or working towards it
  • Experience with thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers
  • Familiarity with SPC, Lean, Six Sigma

You will need to get SC clearance for this role.
