We are looking for candidates with experience in buying/purchasing in manufacturing environments to join a world leader in engineering technology, in a role that is critical to the success of the supply chain. This is a global engineering powerhouse with decades of experience, and you'll have to work at a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility alongside an established procurement team.
You will cover both strategic procurement activities, as well as supplier management. Covering a PSL of approx. 450, you will obtain quotes, negotiate prices, generate purchase orders and effectively support cost reduction.
What are we looking for?
- Min 1-2 years within buying/purchasing for a manufacturing business, using MRP/ERP systems
- Experience with supplier management
- Any technical qualifications/CIPS would be advantageous
- Personality: Eager to learn, excellent communication skills and calm under pressure
