This transformational role will play a key part in the turbomachinery team, working on a micro turbojet engine at one of Europe’s most exciting engineering startups. You will be based at a state-of-the-art facility with excellent resources and clear opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career. You’ll be responsible for the mechanical design of the engine fuel system, developing critical ideas that directly impact engine performance, reliability, and safety. Working closely with turbomachinery specialists, electronics engineers, and external suppliers, you’ll design and develop fuel pumps, injectors, manifolds, and associated mechanical systems, taking designs from concept through analysis, testing, and manufacture.

Main requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Strong mechanical design fundamentals and experience with production-ready engineering drawings (GD&T)
  • Confidence using CAD tools (Siemens NX preferred) and exposure to precision components such as pumps, injectors, valves, or fluid systems
  • Experience working with precision component design
