This is a critical, hands-on opportunity for a reliable and detail-focused Manufacturing Technician to join one of Europe’s fastest-growing defence engineering start-ups.

You will play an important role in operating industrial polymer 3D printing equipment and supporting both prototyping and production activities within a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation at an important stage of its development, working with advanced manufacturing technology and contributing to the production of cutting-edge defence systems.

As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating industrial polymer 3D printing equipment to produce high-quality components.

This will involve preparing machines and materials, loading print files, starting and monitoring print jobs, and ensuring production runs safely and efficiently.

Once printing is complete, you will remove finished builds from the machines and carry out a range of post-processing and finishing activities, including support removal, cleaning, sanding, trimming and bead blasting.

You will also perform basic visual inspections and dimensional checks using simple measuring equipment to ensure components meet the required standards.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or workshop environment and will be comfortable in a practical, hands-on role.

A basic understanding of additive manufacturing or 3D printing processes is highly desirable, along with the ability to follow technical instructions, production plans and established procedures.

Experience operating industrial polymer 3D printing equipment or carrying out post-processing and finishing of plastic or polymer components would be particularly beneficial.

Candidates with backgrounds in engineering, prototyping, aerospace, defence, motorsport or other regulated manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.

You should be comfortable using computers and machine control software, have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Requirements Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or workshop environment.

Basic understanding of additive manufacturing or 3D printing processes.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Experience with polymer 3D printing or post-processing of plastic components is desirable.

This can be either a contract under IR35 or a permanent position
