With more than 200 live projects across multiple sectors, this is an opportunity to join a consultancy where variety genuinely comes as standard. Rather than spending years working on the same technology or within a single industry, you'll have the opportunity to apply your expertise across a diverse range of complex engineering challenges, supporting projects spanning highly regulated and safety-critical environments.

Working within a growing Electrical, Control and Instrumentation team, you'll play a key role in the delivery of projects involving process control systems, electrical systems, automation and functional safety. Depending on your level of experience, the role can offer anything from technical leadership on major projects through to broader responsibility for mentoring engineers, managing project teams and supporting capability growth within the business.

The work is highly varied and can range from early-stage feasibility and concept studies through to detailed design, implementation and commissioning activities. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and customers, helping develop practical engineering solutions whilst ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards.

This is a consultancy environment, so strong communication skills are just as important as technical capability. You'll regularly engage with customers, develop requirements, provide technical guidance and build long-term relationships across a wide range of projects. For engineers who enjoy combining technical problem-solving with client interaction, it offers a genuine opportunity to influence both project outcomes and future business growth.

The team continues to grow and there are opportunities available for both experienced consultants and individuals operating at a more senior or leadership level. Whether your background is in nuclear, defence, energy, utilities, process industries or another safety-critical environment, you'll find yourself working on technically challenging projects where no two assignments are quite the same.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Experience working within consultancy, engineering services or client-facing environments
  • Technical leadership, mentoring or project management experience would be advantageous
  • Understanding of automation platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell or similar would be beneficial
