This is a key role focused on managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and the overall production process for a long-established, fast-growing electronics manufacturer in West Sussex. With over 50 years of experience and a strong reputation across sectors including medical, defence, aviation, automotive and marine, this opportunity offers a chance to join a modern and supportive organisation during an exciting period of growth.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating, importing, and maintaining accurate BOMs and all associated production documentation. You will ensure that product configurations, assembly instructions, test instructions, and packaging requirements are up to date, consistent, and aligned with manufacturing needs.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering qualification and solid experience within an electronics production environment. You should be confident in interpreting technical drawings and schematics, highly accurate with data, and experienced in working with MRP/ERP systems.
The role includes supporting New Product Introductions, implementing engineering changes and working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve technical queries and support smooth production flow. You will oversee item master data and maintain electronic records within the MRP/ERP system to ensure full traceability and control of engineering documents. You will also contribute to developing standard operating procedures and use tools such as Excel to analyse and identify improvements.

- Ability to read schematics and electronic drawings.
- Experience using ERP or a similar system.
- Experience creating and amending (BOM) Bill of Materials.
