Specification Engineer in Hoddesdon

You will play a critical role in the early stages of design processes and drive business development for a world leader in hi-value electronic technology!

Based out of a recently developed HQ in Hoddesdon, this multi-million pound business provide hi-end systems for commercial buildings. With a strong foothold in the market, they have a significant customer base which is ever growing, thus increasing the demand on the production department and sales teams year on year.

Role overview

• Joining a specification engineer and specification manager, working alongside a wider group of sales and applications engineers
• Engage in design support with clients, contractors and consultants during the early stages of projects
• Once embedded into the team, you will have the chance to travel to visit client sin London on a daily basis, winning new business and developing standing relationships

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 1-2 years experience within a sales, applications or specifications engineering position within a technical environment
• Personality: must be highly motivated, go getter type
• Technical understanding of electrical circuitry and schematics can be taught but would be seen at advantageous
