Role Overview
Working in a large team of service engineers, you will provide complex service, repair and installation for clients across the South of England, covering the Bedford to Swindon corridor, with regular work also in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, focusing on 3D Laser/CNC technology. Key to this role will be effective customer care and communication, post work briefings and service reports, and you will often be required to work individually.
What are we looking for?
- Service-related background with an understanding of CNC, sheet metal, break press systems
- Qualifications: NVQs, city & guilds, degree etc.
- Engineering background: Electrical, electronic or electro-mechanical
- Nice to have: Computer literate, networking knowledge
- Experienced in bus systems e.g. ASI, Profibus, ProfiNet, CAN
- Experienced in servo drives Bosch and Siemens
