This is a fantastic opportunity for specialists within assembly and production to join a world leading manufacturing business with an emphasis on career progression and state of the art facilities. Based in Ely, you will be working out of a multistorey site, with an onsite canteen, entertainment spaces and direct train routes, assembling products which are considered the gold standards in their industry.
Working on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-1:30am and Fri 12:30pm-5:30pm), you will be working under a supervisor who joined in this very role 10 years ago, alongside an established team of mechanical, electrical and electronics assembly specialists. You will get the chance to cover both disciplines, using metrology hand tools, as well as soldering of PCBs circuits and will be given the training to develop on each. These builds can range from as quick as 20 minutes to as long as 12 hours.
What are we looking for?
- Mechanical, electrical or electronics assembly/production experience
- Prior work with hand tools or soldering, following engineering drawings/schematics
- Ideally 1-2 years experience minimum
- Personality: hobbyist and natural interest in engineering who is keen to learn and grow
