Our local client is seeking a versatile individual to work in various areas of the business. Ideally you will have worked within small-medium sized company and be able to ‘turn your hand’ to different areas of the business. This is a split role between the warehouse, workshop and office.
They are a very customer focused company so previous customer service (business to business) experience is essential.
There are 3 main areas of responsibility:
Warehouse – picking, packing and dispatch as well as receiving and checking goods into the warehouse. There will be some heavy lifting in the warehouse, and ideally you will have a reach truck licence or experience of driving one.
Workshop – Light assembly work, mainly sheet metal and pipework. There are openings for electrical and electronic assembly too.
Office – phone answering, sales order processing, helping with purchasing and other general office tasks
You should have good administration skills and attention to detail, but more importantly a humble attitude and an aptitude to learn.
