Role

Enterprise League is searching for an energetic Community Builder and Manager to join our growing B2B startup. This unique opportunity involves developing a community and growing it strategically using your ideas.

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining a brand's community — both online and offline — and public perception.
  • Engaging audiences on a variety of outlets including online forums, social media platforms, Slack, in-person groups, as well as other community managers. Must preserve a consistent tone and voice of the brand.
  • Prompt messaging, content and crisis management across networks, consistent with brand and empathetic to create a loyal and delighted community.
  • PR management; engaging with all kinds of press (positive and negative). Navigate legal issues and negative press successfully.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain in‐sync operation flow.
  • Constantly experiment, test tactics and embrace learning, knowing progress takes time.
  • Think long term, invest in improved strategy and new directions. Network with other community managers to crowdsource solutions or lean on experienced peers.
  • Vigilant of the organization's brand presence and assess the potential consequences of corporate communications.
  • Maintain consistency of voice across platforms to keep the company on track in terms of target audience awareness and engagement.
  • Record and report engagement on a weekly basis. Collaborate with content teams to view responses from consumers and track observable changes, confusion or trend shifts.
  • Develop intuition about audience psychology to evolve and tweak outreach strategy for effective engagement.
  • Shape content and communication for the right audience rather than simply building a larger one.
  • Delight the audience with positive encouragement and small gestures such as company swag items.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in building communities and driving business growth and commercial revenue through innovative, content‐lead marketing approaches.
  • Creative skills: knowledge of web design, SEO practices, marketing techniques and social media integration. Produce designs and written content for promotion and engagement.
  • Time management: able to balance multiple online communities, prioritize deadlines, and foster conversations on forums while handling conflict and attracting new members.
  • Adaptability: continuous learning of new skills, responsiveness to industry changes, and proficiency with social media and mobile technologies.
  • Analytic skills: collect and analyze quantitative data such as user statistics and qualitative feedback.
  • Organizational: capable of managing reports, digital files, meetings, and deadlines associated with running an online community independently.
