Enterprise Foods is a business with a unique role sourcing great local food for national retailers and Foodservice operators across the UK. Over two thirds of consumers want to buy local food more often than they currently do because they believe in the quality of the products and want to give back to their local community, but these products are not always available where they shop and eat out. That’s where Enterprise Foods come in. We help small producers of local food to grow their businesses by accessing a larger customer base. We offer a seamless ‘one stop shop’ service including technical & food safety expertise as well as IT, Marketing, Operations & Invoicing support. Our customers include major national retailers and foodservice operators who want to offer their shoppers/consumers quality local foods, which are often delivered fresh every day. We are proud to support local communities throughout the UK and are looking for an experienced Foodservice NAM to join our talented team and help us drive our mission even further. The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing key national accounts within the Foodservice sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships. Strong negotiation skills are required for this role and the candidate must have experience with managing their own P&L. The ideal candidate will have extensive Foodservice experience and will be comfortable traveling to London for customer meetings and conducting occasional site visits across the UK. This role will be remote but we have offices in Glasgow (East Kilbride), Manchester and a remote team in London. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts in the food service industry, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize account growth. Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to engage in effective negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Customer Meetings: Travel to London regularly for customer meetings and presentations, as well as conduct site visits to assess client needs and service requirements nationally. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and the supplier management team to align strategies and support customer needs. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends to present to customers. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or sales within the Foodservice industry. Applications for this role will close on the 9th December.
