SPX Cooling Technologies is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our UK Service Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction, maintenance, industrial, facilities or mechanical environments who enjoys practical, site-based work and wants to develop specialist engineering skills.
No cooling tower or electrical experience is required. We'll provide full training and ongoing development opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Carry out cooling tower cleaning and jet washing
- Assist with maintenance, repairs and inspections
- Support experienced technicians on customer sites
- Work safely using tools, access equipment and PPE
- Travel to sites across the UK with occasional overnight stays
- Complete training and develop technical skills over time
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a site-based, construction, maintenance or industrial role
- Practical, hands-on approach and strong work ethic
- Reliable with good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and in physically active environments
- Willing to travel, stay away from home and work overtime when required
- Full UK driving licence
