The Real Estate Operations Systems Intern will support the management and continued development of the Dealpath platform, provide limited operational support to the Relocation team, and assist with the early-stage integration between Dealpath and Sage, a construction cost accounting system. This full-time summer internship offers hands-on exposure to real estate development systems, data workflows, and enterprise platform implementation within a national nonprofit housing organization.
This is a Full-time, Hybrid Summer internship. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Tuesdays assigned to Bethesda office and Thursdays assigned to Baltimore office, preferred.
Job Description
- Assist with the ongoing management, maintenance, and enhancement of the Dealpath real estate development platform.
- Support data entry, validation, and quality control for development project records, financial updates, and reporting workflows in Dealpath.
- Provide support for the early-stage integration between Dealpath and Sage, including documentation of workflows, testing data exchanges, and identifying data alignment issues.
- Assist in preparing system documentation, user guides, and process maps for development and relocation-related workflows.
- Support troubleshooting and user support requests related to Dealpath and related systems.
- Collaborate with development, finance, and relocation stakeholders to understand business processes and system needs.
- Assist with ad hoc data analysis, dashboards, or reporting requests related to development and relocation activities.
- Participate in team meetings, system training sessions, and ESIP professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in real estate, business, finance, information systems, data analytics, urban planning, or a related field with an interest in community development and affordable housing programs; preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and basic data management skills.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work with complex data and workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Transparency
You will be joining a team of talented professionals motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing. The pay range for this position is $20.00/hour to $24.00/hour for undergraduate level students. The pay range for this position is $24.00/hour to $28.00/hour for graduate level students. The salary range represents the low and high end of what may be paid for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range, and compensation decisions may be influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
