The Events team is a dynamic, engaging global team supporting and creating high-profile, live events. Our role is to deliver an exceptional attendee experience throughout the entire lifecycle of an event. Through collaboration with the company's key business functions, we manage a portfolio of events overseeing everything from strategy to execution to analysis.

Do you have a passion for planning and strong leadership skills? As a member of the team, you will drive and execute a variety of events supporting Pega's strategic initiatives in the European and Middle East regions. You will work closely with the regional marketing team to produce engaging Pega-hosted client/prospect events and manage third-party tradeshows. As the sole event planner based in the EMEA region, you will be responsible for all marketing events within the region while also being a part of a global Events team where you can share best practices and standards of work to provide expert guidance to your regional stakeholders.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Create and manage project management plans for various Pega-hosted events.
  • Own all logistics in the event planning process, including but not limited to; detailed budgeting, site selection, contracting, production, food and beverage planning, room sets, audience flow, technical requirements, giveaways, signage, vendor management, and more.
  • Work autonomously and in partnership with the regional marketing team to create exceptional client/prospect event experiences.
  • Manage participation at third party trade shows and other non-Pega hosted events; overseeing sponsorships, booths, and other assets.
  • 45-50% of international travel onsite for event execution as needed.
  • Evaluate programs and provide post-event analysis, implement areas of improvement for future programs.
  • Manage cross-functional resources to align with project plan. Handle vendor RFPs, vendor onboarding, contract negotiations and payments.

  • A detail-oriented event planner with exceptional time and project management skills and strong leadership skills.
  • This individual communicates well, is quick on their feet, can offer solutions and has an ability to think strategically.
  • This person is a collaborator, comfortable and confident working with multiple event owners including key leaders to achieve measurable success.
  • This person has a positive attitude, is happy to pitch in and help in any way necessary to ensure success – no job is too big or too small.

  • Established ability to apply strategic solutions for successful event outcomes and efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking global environment with numerous deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Experience working on international programs across the EMEA region.
  • Experience leading cross functional teams on complex projects.
  • Proven ability to prepare accurate budgets and effectively manage expenses.
