Job Summary / Purpose: Perform radiological surveys on the primary, secondary, auxiliary systems, plant buildings and grounds.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Provide contamination and dose control.
- Maintain the Radiation Work Permit Program.
- Track radiation exposure for personnel and work tasks.
- Determine methods to reduce radiation exposure.
- Provide radiation protection coverage for work tasks.
- Establish worker stay times.
- Establish radiological work requirements.
- Maintain laboratory quality control.
- Perform instrument calibration and operation.
- Respond to off normal conditions.
- Maintain radiation exposures ALARA.
- Maintain radiation exposures within limits.
- Maintain respiratory protection program.
- Radiologically post the power plant.
- Respond to off normal radiological conditions.
- Understand adverse radiological conditions on equipment and personnel performance.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Senior Technician: 6 years commercial nuclear experience, technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations, at least 2 years experience at the facility, outstanding communication and conflict management skills, proficiency with current computer business applications.
Desired Qualifications:
- Asset Suite, Sentinel and P6 software experience highly desired.
Company Testing Requirement: Successful completion of the EEI TECHtest. Candidates selected to take the TECHtest will be invited via e-mail. Monitor spam/junk email.
