Your role will be vital in supporting these children’s growth, offering guidance, understanding, and ensuring their wellbeing while fostering an environment of respect and trust.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nProvide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people.\\n\\nAssist with day-to-day care, mealtimes, and activities.\\n\\nSupport emotional and behavioural development through positive role modelling and guidance.\\n\\nHelp children and young people achieve their personal goals and engage in educational, recreational, and social activities.\\n\\nWork as part of a team to ensure each child’s welfare, safety, and progress.\\n\\nMaintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.\\n\\nEssential Skills and Experience:\\n\\nStrong skills in report writing and maintaining accurate records.\\n\\nA solid understanding of child safeguarding and the ability to act in the best interests of children and young people at all times.\\n\\nPassionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.\\n\\nEmpathetic, patient, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.\\n\\nExperience in a residential care setting or similar (preferred but not essential).\\n\\nAbility to work flexibly and as part of a team.\\n\\nA commitment to professional development and the willingness to undertake training and learning opportunities.\\n\\nWillingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Residential Children's Care (if not already qualified).\\n\\nWe offer competitive salary packages, ongoing training, and a supportive environment where you can grow both personally and professionally.
