Are you an engineer with experience of CNC machining, precision engineering or manufacturing looking to move into a commercial role? Or are you already working as an Engineering Estimator looking for your next challenge? Our client is a well-established, highly respected precision engineering manufacturer supplying complex machined components to customers across a range of demanding industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Engineering Estimator to join their Machine Shop team.

Working closely with Purchasing, Production Control and Sales, you'll be responsible for producing accurate quotations for subcontract machining work and supporting customers throughout the quotation process:
- Preparing quotations from engineering drawings, CAD models and technical specifications
- Reviewing manufacturing methods and machining routes
- Calculating manufacturing costs and margins
- Working closely with Purchasing and Production to obtain accurate costing information
- Supporting order processing through the ERP system
Requirements:
- A mechanical or manufacturing engineering background
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes
- Commercial awareness
- Experience using Microsoft Office
