We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller to join our precision engineering team in Woking. CNC Millers will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce complex components to tight tolerances using Heidenhain and Siemens control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and Siemens controls.
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
- Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters and machining strategies.
- Machine a variety of materials including steels, stainless steels and exotic alloys.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment.
- Strong experience with Heidenhain or Siemens control systems.
- Ability to machine complex components to tight tolerances.
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machining.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
