Engineering Change Coordinator in Clevedon

We are currently recruiting an Engineering Change Coordinator to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Clevedon.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in engineering, manufacturing, production or project coordination who enjoys managing processes, working with multiple departments and ensuring engineering changes are implemented effectively.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating engineering changes across the business, ensuring that changes to products, components, manufacturing processes and technical documentation are properly reviewed, approved, communicated and implemented.

You will act as a central point of contact between Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement and external suppliers, ensuring all changes are managed efficiently and in line with company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full engineering change management process, from initial request through to implementation and completion.
• Review engineering change requests to ensure information is accurate, complete and clearly documented.
• Coordinate approvals and ensure changes are reviewed by the relevant departments.
• Monitor and track engineering changes, ensuring actions and deadlines are met.
• Liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Procurement and external suppliers.
• Organise and facilitate engineering change review meetings.
• Communicate change updates, potential risks and implementation timelines to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate engineering change records and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
• Support the management of product revisions, engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Identify potential delays or issues and proactively follow up with relevant departments.

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment and have strong coordination and organisational skills.

You may have previously worked as an Engineering Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Production Coordinator, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Quality Coordinator or in a similar technical position.

You will ideally have:

• Experience coordinating projects, processes or engineering/manufacturing activities.
• An understanding of engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work with different departments.
• Experience managing approvals, tracking actions and maintaining accurate records.
• An understanding of engineering drawings, technical documentation or product changes.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with engineering change management, configuration management or systems such as SAP, Teamcenter or Windchill would be advantageous.

A relevant engineering or manufacturing qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
