Stores Operative in High Wycombe

A manufacturing company in High Wycombe require an experienced Stores Operative.
This is a permanent role with a salary range of £27K to £29K.

Candidates need to have previously worked in the Stores area in a manufacturing company before.
Candidates also need to have a current UK driving licence (for occasional deliveries), and have previous experience of using a Forklift Truck.
Plus experience of using Stock Control systems for manually booking items in and out of the Stores.

Typical duties include:

• Receive deliveries and unload with forklift
• Check items are correct and paperwork is complete
• Update Stock control system
• Transfer items to racks
• Labelling stock items where required
• Scan paperwork and file correctly
• Stock taking
• Print picking list, and prepare kits for production area
• Pack items for dispatch to customers
• Record weight and size of all items for dispatch
