Leading, empowering and motivating a growing team of Electrical Engineers involved in semiconductor equipment manufacture.
Working at the core of the engineering and product development teams using engineering tools and methods to bring clarity from ambiguity and deliver products that meet Requirements, Standards, Directives, and are cost effective.
Work collaboratively with and effectively influence engineering teams to ensure clarity of work packages, deliverables, and resolve engineering issues through determining the best solution.
Accountable for the technical elements of the product system and sub-system design, as assigned, identifying risks, control and mitigation actions, escalating issues when necessary for higher-level resolution.
Ensure modularity and standardisation is incorporated to maximise reuse of the engineering effort.
Accountable for safety and type testing of any system or sub-system you are responsible for, verifying and validating its compliance.
Mentor and coach a growing core team of Electrical Engineers of all levels of expertise to continue their development towards being a Lead Electrical Engineer themselves.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, and significant level of experience of the practical application of best-practice product design, development and Electrical Engineering in a relatable engineering industry.
Significant experience and understanding of working in a regulated, compliance-driven industry such as the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry including product safety and compliance to applicable standards.
Experience of project coordination, project governance, methods, and management of teams.
