We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of our construction clients based in North London. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be managing costs and value, ensuring quality and safety across a wide range of local commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial resources across assigned projects to maximise profitability and achieve planned gross margins.
- Provide commercial support in areas including valuations, claims management, budget control, and performance reporting.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Oversee and authorise project variations, subcontract agreements, and material orders.
Requirements:
- Degree or HNC qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Previous experience in a similar Quantity Surveying or commercial role within the construction industry, ideally working for a Main Contractor.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and contractual processes.
