Mechanical Fitter (temp) required to work in an engineering manufacturing company in High Wycombe for 6 months. If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.

The Mechanical Fitter will assemble and disassemble precision mechanical assemblies (including heat shrinks, bearings, bushes, sleeves). Duties may include repair and overhaul activities using a variety of hand tools and workshop tools/machinery including blasting/cleaning machines and air tools. Some component inspection experience using micrometers and verniers is also required.

All candidates must have previous experience of mechanical fitting, assembly, inspection, and testing. The ability to work from engineering drawings is essential. Ideal candidates will have an Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 Qualifications in Engineering. Basic computer skills are required as all work is logged on the company system.
