Mechanical Fitter (temp) required for an immediate start in an engineering manufacturing company in High Wycombe for 12 months, and then ongoing for another 12 months.

Duties include precision mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and finished products.
The Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician will assemble and disassemble precision mechanical assemblies (including heat shrinks, bearings, bushes, sleeves) etc.
Duties may include repair and overhaul activities using a variety of hand tools, air tools, and workshop tools / machinery.
Plus, some component inspection experience using micrometers and verniers.
The ability to work from engineering drawings is essential.
Basic computer skills are required as all work is logged on the company system.
Essential – Candidates must have previous experience of precision mechanical fitting, assembly, inspection, and testing.
Desirable – Ideal candidates will have an Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 Qualifications in Engineering.
Any experience of re-alignment of small motor drive systems is ideal.
Strip down of small electric motors to bare components. Followed by the inspection, refurbishment, and re-assembly of motors.
This is a temporary role for 12 months, with an expectation to be renewed for a further 12 months.
Pay rate is £20 per hour PAYE (or £27/hr Umbrella).
37 hours per week.
