Role Overview
We are recruiting CNC Millers / CNC Milling Machine Setters / Operators to support the manufacturing and production of precision products. You will work on a range of CNC Mills with Mazatrol Controls. Experience with Mazatrol, Fanuc, or a similar control and 5‑axis capabilities is required.
Essential Skills
- CNC Setting / Machine Operating (Mills, vertical machining centres)
- Able to carry out editing, offset and adjustments using Mazatrol
- Happy to operate conventional machines if needed
- Reliable
- Have an eye for detail & methodical approach – part of the miller's work will be dimensionally inspecting products to check the quality as they come from the Machinery
- Possess dexterity, attention to detail and able to use written instructions
- Flexible working attitude
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in CNC Machining, CNC Milling, or a good general CNC environment.
- Ability to understand production/manufacturing processes & procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills are an advantage. Some training can be provided.
Contract Details
Contract length: initially 12‑24 months, likely to extend beyond. Ongoing contract with interviews and starts available over the next few weeks. £23‑£25 FCSA Umbrella (this role is deemed inside IR35); PAYE is also available at £17‑£18 per hour.
