We are partnering with a growing organisation undergoing a significant cloud and security transformation. As part of this journey, they are seeking an experienced Security Architect to help shape security strategy, influence enterprise technology decisions, and embed secure-by-design principles across a modern technology environment.

This is a highly visible role working closely with senior technology leaders, architects, and engineering teams, offering the opportunity to drive key cloud, identity, and security initiatives while helping define the future security architecture of the organisation.

You will be responsible for defining and evolving enterprise security architecture, designing secure AWS-based solutions, and driving the adoption of Zero Trust and modern identity-led security principles. Working alongside Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams, you will ensure security is embedded throughout the technology lifecycle, from architecture and design through to implementation and operation.

The role will also involve conducting architecture reviews, threat modelling, and security assessments, whilst providing architectural oversight across strategic transformation programmes and supporting the evolution of Identity and Access Management capabilities.

We are interested in speaking with experienced Security Architects who possess strong AWS security expertise, including IAM, networking, encryption, and multi-account cloud environments. You should have a deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture, modern identity security, and cloud-native technologies such as containers, APIs, and serverless platforms.

Experience with DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and security tooling including CSPM, CIEM, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and secrets management solutions will be highly beneficial.

A strong understanding of recognised security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls is also important, alongside knowledge of modern authentication and authorisation standards including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
